Public Notice to Citizens

On November 10, 2025, the Mayor and Council approved the implementation of Property Tax for the City of Walthourville. This important decision was made after careful consideration and discussion, with the goal of strengthening city services, infrastructure, and future development.

The Mayor and Council adopted a rate of 12 mills. Property Tax bills will be prepared and mailed in December by the Liberty County Tax Commissioner’s Office. Please watch your mail for your bill and follow the payment instructions provided.

This decision will support continued progress within the City of Walthourville, including vital public safety services, roads, parks, and community improvements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we move forward.
