Liberty County Property Assessor's Office Reminder

📢 Reminder: Appeal Deadline & Homestead Application Opportunity (HB 91)

Liberty County property owners are reminded that Friday, July 25 2025, is the last day to file a property value appeal for the current assessment year.

In accordance with House Bill 91 (HB 91), property owners who have not yet applied for a homestead exemption may now do so during the appeal period. 

This provides a valuable opportunity to ensure eligible exemptions are in place.

To better serve the public, the Property Assessor’s Office will remain open until 6:00 PM on Friday, July 25, to accommodate those needing to file after regular work hours.
